Jewish Theatre Ensemble1999 South Campus DriveEvanston, IL 60208 www.JewsOnStage.com The Jewish Theatre Ensemble (JTE) is an entirely student-run theatre group at Northwestern University. We produce four mainstage productions a year, as well as the traveling storytelling troop, JTE Storytellers. JTE exists to provide the Northwestern and greater Chicago community with high quality entertainment and exposure to Jewish involvement in the arts. We aspire to challenge common perceptions and generate conversation relating to issues that fall within the resonance of the Jewish experience. We are involved in the celebration and education of Jewish culture on campus, operating at a level of artistic excellence and encouraging creative endeavors that promote Jewish themes in the arts.2007-8 Theatre Season: Brooklyn Boy by Donald Marguiles November 8-10, 2007 Hair: The American Tribal Love Rock Musical Music by Galt McDermot Book by Gerome Ragni and James Rado February 7-9, 2008 Romance by David Mamet March 6-8, 2008 Picasso at the Lapine Agile by Steve Martin" May 1-3, 2008 |
