After writing the play, GOD COMES TO CINCINNATI, Darryl was encouraged by Rabbi's and theatrical veterans to promote the play to Jewish theatre organizations. After more than a dozen people shared that they were moved to tears at the conclusion; Darryl decided to turn to the Association for Jewish Theatre to gain exposure. GOD COMES TO CINCINNATI is about a young Jewish female newspaper reporter who decides to eat lunch at downtown Cincinnati's Fountain Square park. She sits next to a handsome young man who claims to be God. Of course, she thinks he's crazy and she begins to walk away... until he calls out the names of her parents, friends, co-workers, her dog and schools she attended! He offers her a one-on-one interview with God where she can ask all the questions we'd ask God if given the chance. But is this man really Adonai?

God Comes to Cincinnati
Jewish newspaper reporter Sarah Solomon encounters a man who claims to be God. He offers her the opportunity to interview him and ask any questions she desires.

Questions abound regarding Eden, Slavery, the Exodus, the Holocaust, Darfur, and why all the miracles happened back then... but never today. The reporter goes for "the jugular" asking God's thoughts about Christianity and Islam and even asks if Christ was God's son or not. Laughter, rage, compassion, violence, brief profanity and a stunning twist will have audiences captivated from the word go.
