My focus is on solo performance and personal story, as a writer/performer, and as a teacher (I'm on the performance faculty of the School of Theatre at the University of Southern California, and teach a class called "What's the Story?" at the University of Judaism). I've performed on and offBroadway in New York, and in theatres throughout Los Angeles, where I've lived for the past seven years. I am an Affiliate Artist of the Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity here in LA, and plan to spend the summer of 2004 in Israel on a cultural exchange, and as a visiting Master Teacher at the University of Tel Aviv.
As writer/performer: Sifting Thru Ashes; Looking for Louie: A secondgeneration Russian Jewish American (sometimes) Redhead goes off in search of the mysterious greatgrandfather about whom nobody would ever speak. A solo play with live string bass score, available for touring. Produced by Pacific Resident Theatre, LA; Stages Theatre Center, Hollywood; and the Tenement Theatre at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, NYC.
